There will be t-shirts available to pre-order or purchase the night of the show (see order form on our website). Flowers and DVD's of the showcase will be available the night of the show.

Once again, we will have a raffle before the show with the winners drawn immediately after the intermission.

***All ticket sales and proceeds from the t-shirts, flowers and raffle go to KBMF and Midwest Heart Foundation.

Participants include: STEPS Dance Center, Naperville North High School Orchesis, Naperville Central High School Orchesis, Waubonsie Valley High School Orchesis, Neuqua Valley High School Orchesis, School of Performing Arts, Sole Dance Academy, Inside Out Dance Company, Extensions Dance Company, SoleUnique, DuPage Dance Team and Dance 2XS from University of Illinois.

Calendar of Events

2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk for KBMF

Get those running shoes on! It's just about time for the 2nd 5K Walk/Run for KBMF!

Come join us to make new friends, have lots of fun and remember Kathryn!

What: 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk on track. All runners and walkers welcome!

When: Saturday June 28, 2008

Time: Check-in at 8:00am
Walk begins at 9:00am

Where: Naperville North High School (Football Stadium)
899 N. Mill St. Naperville, IL 60564

Registration:

Late registration (June 8th - day of race):
$25/person or $60/family

T-shirts are guaranteed for each participant only if registered before June 7th.

If you know of a company that would be willing to sponsor this event and have their company name printed on the t-shirt, please notify us through the Contact Us link on the website.

Not only is the walking fun, but so is the cause. Help us to raise money for the yearly Kathryn Bender Performance Award scholarship at Naperville North High School and also for the mural that will be put up in Kathryn's memory on a large wall inside the school!

A Day of Learning and Remembrance

By being an organ, tissue and eye donor with the Gift of Hope, the donor's family is invited to participate in an annual "Day of Learning and Remembrance."

This year, the event took place on February 16th in Rosemont, IL.

During the Ceremony of Learning and Remembrance, Kathryn's name was one of many to be read aloud.

Kathryn's Bears

The past two years, KBMF collected stuffed bears in memory of Kathryn. We donated Kathryn's Bears to Children's Memorial Hospital for kids to receive after an operation throughout the year.

This year again, we have collected Kathryn's Bears and have taken them to Children's Memorial Hospital. Along with the bears, we collected handheld games to donate as well.

Thank you to Steps Dance Center who set up the collection for us this year. Also, thank you to Suzie Shinkle who also set up a collection herself. We truly appreciate all who donated bears and handheld games. We are excited that these donations will bring a smile to the faces of many children.
