Purchasing the EKG Machine!

Portable EKG Machine

KBMF was a First Down Sponsor at this years Midwest Heart Foundation Tailgating fundraiser on October 29th. The fundraiser raises money for the Young Hearts for Life program which tests high school students for heart conditions.

KBMF again was able to purchase a portable EKG machine at this event.

4 years have passed...

November 20th, 2005 is a date that many of us cannot forget. Four years have flown by.

Life is too short and time passes to quickly to fight, to argue, to hold grudges and to be sad.

We wake up each day, think of Kathryn and continue to do what we think is right, what would make her proud.

As we prepare for our 4 year mark without Kathryn, please take a moment to think of her and everyone else that truly means something to you.

Tell them you love them. Don't let the moment pass you by.

DuPage Dragons Baseball Fundraiser Supports KBMF

Having fun with the mascot Dinger!!

Thank you to all who came and joined us to watch a baseball game and support KBMF as the DuPage Dragons played the Danville Dans on June 10th.

The teams are members of the Central Illinois Collegiate League, newly known as the Prospect League.

$3 of each ticket purchased went to the Kathryn Bender Memorial Foundation. Thanks Dragons!

'Kathryn's Bears' to be Collected in December

A picture from last year's trip to deliver 'Kathryn's Bears' to Children's Memorial Hospital with the help of the Chicago Storm

During the first two weeks of December we will be collecting Kathryn's Bears. Our main location for collecting the bears is at Steps Dance Center in Aurora, IL. If you would like to donate or help us collect bears at another location, please let us know by sending us an e-mail under the 'Contact Us' link on our website.

We look forward to collecting our biggest number of teddy bears this year. That means we need to collect over 500 bears!

We look forward to placing a smile on many children's faces by delivering them to the Children's Hospital.

Thank you...

Neuqua Valley High School - for donating their facility for our walk
