Kathryn - I love you and am thankful every
day that I had the chance to spend a little time with you. It has been
wonderful getting to know you more and more over the past year through
your website and all of the stories that everyone shares. I am so
thankful for the showcase DVD and finally getting the chance to see you
dance. You're so gorgeous and amazingly talented. You look so full of
joy. I hope you're having an amazing time up there with your Dad.
Thanks for watching over us all and for keeping that playhouse safe :)
This is a song that I heard about six
hundred billion times on the radio in the week or so before November
20th. And I haven't heard it on the radio again since. It will always
remind me of you. I love you Kathryn.

Hymn by Chris Rice:
Weak and
wounded sinner, lost and left to
die, O, raise your head, for Love is passing by.
Come to Jesus, come to Jesus, come to Jesus and live!
Now your
burden's lifted, and carried far away, and precious blood has
washed away the stain
...so sing to Jesus, sing to Jesus, sing to Jesus
and live!
And like
a newborn baby, don't be afraid to crawl, and remember when
you walk, sometimes we fall
...so fall on Jesus, fall on Jesus, fall on
Jesus and live!
Sometimes
the way is lonely and steep and filled with pain, so if your
sky is dark and pours the rain
...then cry to Jesus, cry to Jesus, cry
to Jesus and live!
O, and
when the love spills over, and music fills the night, and when
you can't contain your joy inside
...then dance for Jesus, dance for
Jesus, dance for Jesus and live!
And with
your final heartbeat, kiss the world goodbye, then go in
peace, and laugh on glory's side
...and fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus, fly
to Jesus and live!

Hi, I didn't know Kathryn Bender, but I knew
that she was a fantastic dancer.
When I heard the story, I thought she is still dancing on clouds with
all the angels
. I would like to say to her friends and family that I'm very sorry for
your loss. I
don't go to Steps, but all my fiends go, so I know that she was and
still is the most
popular dancer there.
GOD BLESS!

I never knew Kathryn, but I always heard
that she
was an amazing dancer from others. When getting an operation done to me
2 years ago, I had gotten one of the Kathryn's Bears donated from Steps
and it means a lot to me, and even though I didn't know her, she will
never be forgotten in my heart.

In the world there are special people,
Kathryn was one of them. It
takes a real special person to give someone hope, but it takes a person
like Kathryn
to fulfill their dreams.

I did not know Kathryn but she went to the
same school as my daughter did,
and her mother is teaching my grandson's kindergarten class. I'm sure
Kathryn must
have been wonderful with such a caring mother. I feel lucky she is the
first teacher
to touch my grandson Jordan's life. And I know it must take courage for
her to do
this after the tragic loss of her own child. I can't imagine anything
more precious
than coming back to make a positive impact on all those little five and
six year-old
children.

In life, there are many shortcuts to
happiness. Kathryn's personality was one of
them. Even though I did not know Kathryn, whenever I heard her voice
talking to
someone, it reflected off of what her personality was. Kathryn was a
kind, sweet,
loving person and will always be remembered in everyone's hearts
forever and ever.
